PSU
To date all TEC water blocks have been powered by additional meanwell PSU's this is the case because most TEC's perform better at voltages other than 12volt. Also a PCs Molex connection can not handle the current draw of a TEC, which leads to melting .
Insulation
If the water block or chiller goes below dew point you will need to insulate the block, CPU and motherboard from condensation. There a NUMEROUS ways you can insulate. I would suggest you checkout a good forum for more information on this process
Torque screw driver
If you don't purchase a block with TEC's already instilled you will HAVE TO purchase a torque screwdriver to ensure the correct pressure is applied.
Water cooling gear
All my blocks require watercooling, the better the cooling the better the results you will achieve with a TEC water block. A TEC water block is not a cheap way to get better temps as you'll need a high quality water cooling system to dissipate the increased heat load.
